Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CoachConnect (“Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Marketplace Roles & Booking
CoachConnect serves as an intermediary platform connecting independent tutors and coaches with students. Tutors are independent contractors and set their own hourly rates and schedules. CoachConnect provides scheduling tools, WebRTC classrooms, and payment escrow facilitation.
3. Stripe Connect & Escrow Payments
Payments for booked tutoring lessons are processed via Stripe Connect. Student payments are authorized and held in escrow until the scheduled lesson concludes. Tutors agree to a standard 10% platform commission fee on gross booking volume to cover infrastructure, WebRTC servers, and escrow dispute mediation.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Students may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking at least 24 hours prior to the session start time for a full 100% refund. Cancellations under 24 hours are subject to tutor cancellation policies. In accordance with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, first-time students who are dissatisfied with a lesson may request a full refund within 24 hours of lesson completion.
5. User Conduct & Classroom Safety
All classroom sessions conducted through CoachConnect WebRTC rooms must maintain professional, respectful, and harassment-free communication. Recording sessions without mutual consent is strictly prohibited. Violation of community standards will result in immediate account suspension.
